Permethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid with strong acaricidal and insecticidal action, acting on the nervous system of parasites, causing paralysis and death. The collar should be fitted loosely, allowing two fingers to be inserted between the neck and the collar. For optimal efficacy, it should be worn continuously and replaced every 4 months. Do not open the collar bag until ready to use.
